Israeli forces detain Hebron teen

Feb. 8, 2013 10:54 A.M. (Updated: Feb. 9, 2013 1:31 P.M.)
HEBRON (Ma’an) -- Israeli forces detained a 17-year-old Palestinian in Hebron's Old City on Thursday evening, a local activist said.

Muneir Zahdeh was stopped by troops at the entrance to Shuhada Street, with two other Palestinian youths, Youth Against Settlements coordinator Badee Dweik said.

The other youths were released, but Zahdeh was taken into custody, he added.

An Israeli army spokeswoman said she was not familiar with the incident.
