EL-ARISH, Egypt (Ma'an) -- International activists arrived at a crossing into the Gaza Strip on Saturday morning ahead of a humanitarian aid convoy they had organized.

An Egyptian security source said 50 Bahrainis and three Egyptians entered the Rafah land crossing and would be joined by 100 more activists later on Saturday.

The humanitarian supplies, as part of the 19th Miles of Smiles aid convoy, will arrive later. They will be shipped to the Egyptian coastal city of Alexandria and transferred to Rafah, the security official said.
