White House says motivation not clear for US bombing in Turkey

Feb. 1, 2013 7:10 P.M. (Updated: Feb. 1, 2013 7:10 P.M.)
WASHINGTON (Reuters) -- The White House said it is not yet clear who is responsible for a suicide bombing on Friday at the US embassy in Turkey, the second attack on a US mission in four months.

"The attack itself was clearly an act of terror," said Jay Carney, White House spokesman, in a briefing with reporters.
