BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- The Israeli army said a Palestinian man opened fire on a Jewish settlement in the occupied West Bank on Sunday night, without causing damage or injuries.

The man was detained after he shot at the entrance of Migdal Oz, a settlement south of Bethlehem, an army spokesman said. An improvised weapon was found nearby, he said.
