Egyptian soldier killed when vehicle overturns near Israel border

El-ARISH, Egypt (Ma’an) -- An Egyptian soldier was killed and another injured in an accident on the Israeli-Egyptian borders on Thursday, security officials said.

A military bulldozer overturned near the border in the Sinai peninsula, killed 21-year-old Muhammad Hassan Ahmad, the sources said.

His injured colleague was evacuated to Rafah hospital.
