Elderly woman, baby, killed in south Gaza car crash

GAZA CITY (Ma’an) -- An elderly woman and a baby died in a car accident in south Gaza on Wednesday, medics said.

Fatima Abdul Nabi Sulaiman Al-Sheikh Al-Eid, 64, and nine-month-old Fatah Ismael Al-Sheikh Al-Eid were killed when a bus crashed into a vehicle transporting animals, health ministry spokesman Ashraf al-Qidra said.

Six others were injured in the crash between Khan Younis and Rafah.
