Secretary-general of PA cabinet resigns

RAMALLAH (Ma'an) -- The secretary-general of the Palestinian Authority cabinet resigned on Wednesday, his office said.

Prime Minister Salam Fayyad accepted Naim Abu al-Hummus' resignation, which will be effective from Jan. 1.

Abu al-Hummus will return to his previous work as a lecturer at Birzeit University, his office told Ma'an.
