JERUSALEM (Ma'an) -- A Palestinian man in his 20s was stabbed to death on Monday in Sur Bahir, south of Jerusalem.

Israeli police spokeswoman Luba Al-Samari told Ma'an a Palestinian suspect was arrested at a checkpoint shortly after the incident. She said initial investigations suggest the stabbing followed a dispute between families in Sur Bahir.

The victim was identified by locals as Fadi Ayyad.
