Japan gives $7 million to UNRWA

BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Japan is to give $7.7 million to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency, or UNRWA for food distributions to Palestine refugees across the Middle East, officials said Wednesday.

The announcement was made at a ceremony at an UNRWA training Center in Wadi al-Seer, Amman attended by Amb. Junichi Kosuge and UNRWA Commissioner-General Filippo Grandi.
