Man seriously wounded in East Jerusalem car crash

JERUSALEM (Ma'an) -- An 18-year-old man was seriously injured in a car crash late Monday in al-Eizariya in East Jerusalem, Israeli police said.

Israeli police spokeswoman Luba al-Sumri told Ma'an that a Palestinian man with a Jerusalem identity card was critically wounded in the accident and transferred to Hadassah hospital.

The driver of the other vehicle involved in the accident, who is an Israeli citizen, was taken for questioning by police.
