Tulkarem woman arrested for 'witchcraft and sorcery'

TULKAREM (Ma'an) -- Police on Thursday detained a woman in Tulkarem on suspicion of fraud and practicing "sorcery and witchcraft."

Police said in a statement that the woman was arrested after a man complained she had taken money from his daughters for witchcraft and sorcery.

Following an investigation, police arrested the woman and transferred her to prosecution.
