Egyptian soldier killed, 5 wounded as tank overturns in Sinai

EL-ARISH, Egypt (Ma’an) -- An Egyptian soldier was killed and five others were wounded as a security tank overturned in the Sinai, security officials said.

The body of an Egyptian soldier was transferred to a hospital inside the peacekeeping camp there along with the five other soldiers who were wounded.

They were driving the tank at high speed before it crashed, the sources said.

The tank hit a sandy hill, and overturned, they said.
