JERUSALEM (Ma’an) -- Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails applauded Palestine's victory at a UN General Assembly vote for non-member state recognition on Thursday night, a prisoners organization said.

Palestinian detainees hope the recognition of state of Palestine will aid the implementation of national reconciliation, the Prisoners Center for Studies said.
