Al Arabiya TV: Saudi diplomat shot dead in Yemen

SANAA (Reuters) -- A Saudi diplomat was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in the Yemeni capital Sanaa on Wednesday, Saudi-owned Al Arabiya television reported, citing diplomatic sources.

The station give no further details. Yemen has been grappling with a number of security problems including the local offshoot of al-Qaida.
