BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Hamas in the West Bank has declared Friday a "day of unity and victory" and called for demonstrations after noon prayers.

Hamas on Thursday urged people to join marches from mosques as an expression of unity and to celebrate what it describes as Gaza's victory over Israel in the eight-day war that ended with a ceasefire on Wednesday.
