Police: Palestinian woman attacks officer in East Jerusalem

BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- A Palestinian woman tried to stab an Israeli border police officer in East Jerusalem on Thursday morning, a police spokesman said.

The woman was detained after the attack outside an Israeli police station on Sultan Suleiman street, Mickey Rosenfeld said. The officer was lightly injured.
