Nov. 21, 2012 9:48 P.M. (Updated: Nov. 21, 2012 9:48 P.M.)
EL-ARISH, Egypt (Ma'an) -- An Egyptian Bedouin was shot dead on Wednesday during a pro-Gaza demonstration in Sinai, witnesses said.

Locals told Ma'an that Bedouins had been demonstrating in north Sinai when protestors approached the main gate of a peacekeeping base in Sheikh Zuweid and lit a fire in the area.

Egyptian security fired shots in the air to disperse the protesters and clashes broke out, leading to the death of Musallal al-Hamadi.

Salim Salami was injured in the clashes.
