Army: 5 rockets fired from Gaza since midnight

BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Palestinian armed groups in the Gaza Strip fired five rockets toward Israeli targets early Tuesday but two of them were intercepted, the Israeli military said.

An army spokeswoman told Ma'an that Israel's Iron Dome system intercepted two of the rockets.

Israeli media reported that air raid sirens sounded in Ashkelon, Sderot and Kiryat Gat.
