BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Israel said its military forces targeted 80 sites across the Gaza Strip overnight Sunday.
Aircraft and navy forces struck Hamas police headquarters in the Gaza Strip and targeted "several Hamas-affiliated terrorist squads as they prepared to fire rockets towards Israel," a statement said.
Israeli forces also targeted "under-ground rocket launching sites, terror tunnels and training bases, inflicting severe damage to the rocket launching capabilities of terror organizations operating out of the Gaza Strip."
Several buildings used as "command posts and weapon storage facilities" were also hit.
Eleven people, including an 18-month-old baby, were killed in the attacks and at least 70 injured.
Israel said its forces have targeted 1,350 sites in the Gaza Strip.
