Palestinian groups continue to fire at Israeli targets

GAZA CITY (Ma’an) – Palestinian resistance factions on Saturday confirmed that their fighters continued to launch missiles toward Israeli towns and military sites bordering the Gaza Strip.

Hamas’ military wing the al-Qassam Brigades claimed responsibility in a statement for firing five missiles at Sderot, 19 Grad missiles at military bases Hatsireim and Tseilim, as well as two Grad missiles at Ashdod.

Separately, the military wing of Islamic Jihad, the al-Quds Brigades, claimed responsibility for launching 11 Grad missiles at Netivot and Ashkelon, and several 107 missiles at Sderot.

For its part, the al-Ansar Brigades said in a statement that its fighters launched two homemade projectiles at Kibbuts Erez.

The National Resistance Brigades of the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine claimed responsibility for firing two missiles at Ashdod and Ashkol regional council.

Similarly, an-Nasser Salah Addin Brigades, the military wing of the Popular Resistance Committees, confirmed in a statement that fighters fired two 107 missiles at Sderot and four homemade projectiles at Shaar Hanegiv.
