Witnesses: Israel detains 2 teens at Nablus protest

NABLUS (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces on Thursday detained two teenagers in Nablus in the northern West Bank during a protest against Israeli attacks on the Gaza Strip, witnesses said.

Yasser al-Qanna 18, and Mosaab Akouba, 17, were detained during a demonstration at Huwwara checkpoint in solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza, witnesses told Ma'an.

An Israeli military spokeswoman did not immediately respond to a call seeking comment.
