Egypt: Rocket landed in Sinai

Nov. 15, 2012 2:31 P.M. (Updated: Nov. 15, 2012 11:04 P.M.)
EL-ARISH, Egypt (Ma'an) -- A rocket landed near Egyptian border guards in Sinai's Rafah on Thursday, causing no injuries, Egyptian security officials said.

Security officers told Ma'an the projectile landed 500 meters from an Egyptian border guard battalion south of Rafah crossing on the border with Gaza.

Egyptian authorities have formed a military committee to determine the model of projectile and the direction it was launched, they added.
