BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- The Israeli military released video Wednesday that it said shows the assassination of a senior Hamas military leader in the Gaza Strip.

Israel said the footage showed the attack that killed al-Qassam Brigades leader Ahmad al-Jaabari and his aide Muhammad al-Hums.

The assassination was followed by strikes on Hamas’ police and security forces headquarters across the Gaza Strip. Palestinian officials said dozens were wounded.
