Egypt detains 'Jihadist leader' in Sinai

EL-ARISH, Egypt (Ma'an) -- Egyptian authorities have detained a Jihadist leader in Sinai, security officials announced Friday.

Mohammad Abdullah Abed al-Rahman, a well-known leader in a Jihadist organization, was detained on Wednesday morning by the Egyptian authorities.

Al-Rahman is accused of plotting clashes between the police and the army.
