Aug. 28, 2012 12:26 P.M. (Updated: Aug. 29, 2012 5:51 P.M.)
NABLUS (Ma'an) -- Four Palestinians were injured in clashes with settlers south of Nablus on Tuesday, a PA official said.

Ghassan Doughlas, who monitors settlement activity in the northern West Bank, told Ma'an that settlers arrived in 10 cars at the southern Nablus village of al-Lubban ash Sharqiya and clashed with local residents.

Four villagers were injured and a settler was beaten with an iron bar, locals said.

Israeli forces arrested Sameh Daraghmeh and his son Khaled, Doughlas said.

An Israeli military spokeswoman told Ma'an that an Israeli civilian was attacked with an object near Maale Levona settlement and transferred to an Israeli hospital.

Two Palestinians were detained and transferred to Israeli police custody, she added.
