Hebron child dies from road accident injuries

HEBRON (Ma’an) -- An 11-year-old child died in the southern West Bank on Monday from injuries suffered in a car accident last week.

Najat Ibrahim Al-Shawahin, from Yatta, was wounded in the crash between a car and motorcycle, and taken to Al-Mizan hospital, police said.

Two brothers riding the motorcycle were also seriously injured.

The car driver has been detained pending further investigations.
