Army: Rocket fired from Gaza lands in Israel

BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- A rocket fired from the Gaza Strip landed in southern Israel on Monday, the Israeli military said.

The projectile landed in the Hof Ashkelon council, without causing injuries or damage, an army spokeswoman said.

Another rocket was fired towards Israel from Gaza overnight Sunday, she added.
