Army: Rocket fired from Gaza lands in south Israel

BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- A rocket fired from the Gaza Strip landed in southern Israel on Tuesday afternoon, without causing damage or injuries, the Israeli army said.

A military spokesman said the projectile landed in the Negev's Eshkol Regional Council, and a fire started as result, but was brought under control.
