BETHLEHEM (Ma'an) -- Israeli forces shot two people along the border with Egypt on Monday, army officials said.

Soliders fired at the pair in a vehicle at the border after they didn't stop on instruction, a military statement said.

"A positive hit was identified and the suspects were evacuated by helicopter to a hospital for medical treatment," it added.
