PA ambassador to Mauritius takes office

TANZANIA (Ma'an) -- The Palestinian envoy to Tanzania Nasri Abu Jeish submitted his credentials to the President of the Republic of Mauritius as a non-resident ambassador to the country on Sunday, official media said.

Abu Jeish briefed President Anerood Jugnauth on the situation in the Palestinian territories, and the Mauritian leader stressed his support for Palestinians' struggle for freedom and independence, PA agency Wafa said.
