Dec. 25, 2011 7:06 P.M. (Updated: Dec. 26, 2011 6:53 P.M.)
HEBRON (Ma’an) -- A settler was lightly wounded on Sunday when stones were thrown at a car she was traveling in.

Official news agency Wafa said that stones hit the settler car near Beit Ummar, northern Hebron.

The woman has received medical treatment.

Some 500,000 Israelis live in Jewish-only settlements in the West Bank and East Jerusalem. There are about 2.5 million Palestinians in the same territory.

All settlements are considered illegal under international law.
