Clashes as Israeli forces raid Tulkarem, nearby camp

TULKAREM (Ma’an) -- Israeli military vehicles raided Tulkarem and its refugee camp Tuesday afternoon, witnesses said, and clashes erupted between the troops and locals.

Witnesses said five Israeli army vehicles moved into the eastern area of the city where clashes erupted. Palestinians threw rocks at the troops fired bullets and tear gas grenades in return.

The vehicles were also seen in the Tulkarem refugee camp.

No detentions or injuries were reported.
