Child dies after car collision in Tulkarem village

TULKAREM (Ma'an) -- A one-and-half year old infant died Saturday after being hit by a car in a northern West Bank village one week ago.

Mutaz Ibrahim Milhim suffered severe injuries after bring run over in Dhinnaba village near Tulkarem on Aug. 27, the police public relations department said.

The child died in hospital, and the driver of the car has been detained pending legal procedures, the statement added.
