TULKAREM (Ma’an) -- Ten people were injured Friday in a vehicle collision in the northern West Bank, a Ma'an reporter said.

The accident took place near the Tulkarem municipality, and the injured were taken to hospitals in the city as well as Nablus to the north, the correspodent reported.

A civil defense spokesman said in a statement that the cause of the accident was excessive speed, illegal overtaking, and neglecting traffic signals.
