11 tons of expired mineral water seized in Gaza

GAZA CITY (Ma'an) -- The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced Tuesday that it had destroyed more than 11 tons of expired bottled water being sold in markets.

General director of the ministry Foad Al-Esawi confirmed in a statement to Ma'an that the ministry was launching a campaign in shops and markets to search for expired goods.

He called on people to inform officials of any product bought which had past its sell-by date.
