Report: Right wingers attack Israeli-Palestinian solidarity tent

July 30, 2011 1:29 P.M. (Updated: July 30, 2011 1:29 P.M.)
TEL AVIV, Israel (Ma'an) -- Right-wing Israelis attacked an Israeli-Palestinian protest tent in Tel Aviv on Friday, tearing down a Palestinian flag, the official Palestinian Authority news agency Wafa reported.

The tent was set up as part of recent nationwide protests in Israel over housing prices.

Wafa reported that Palestinian citizens of Israel had joined the housing protests, and that their participation seemed to have upset the Israeli right wing.
