GAZA CITY (Ma’an) -- Member of the PPP’s political bureau Walid Al-Awad expects Egypt to send an invitation to all the Palestinian factions before March to discuss reconciliation.

Al-Awad met Thursday morning with an Egyptian delegation in Cairo and discussed the latest "Israeli threats against Gaza" and the situation in the Palestinian political arena.

He also discussed the Palestinian reconciliation file and ways to reinvigorate it. He also said the meeting discussed Palestinian internal affairs with particular emphasis on the growing risks of division.

The Egyptian delegation included Gen. Muhammad Ibrahim and the Brig. General Wael As-Safti.
