Istanbul jolted by bombings

ISTANBUL (AFP) - Four homemade bombs exploded simultaneously in Istanbul, damaging property but without causing casualties, Turkey's Anatolia news agency reported on Friday.

Several windows smashed when the bombs went off late Thursday on the European side of the city.

There was no immediate claim of responsibility for bombings.
