Firefighters put out blaze in Jerusalem

JERUSALEM (Ma'an) -- Israeli firefighters extinguished a fire that broke out in a forest near the western entrance of the city Saturday afternoon.

Police spokeswoman Luba As-Samari said fire experts arrived on the scene to determine the cause of the blaze. No injuries were reported.

Earlier, police said they were searching for suspicious individuals seen running from the site of the fire near the forest.
