QALQILIYA (Ma'an) -- Palestinian Authority police detained four suspected of stealing 14 sheep from a farm in the northern West Bank district of Qalqiliya, a report read.

Police said the farmer whose sheep were stolen filed a complaint with police, informing them of the robbery.

Chief of Qalqiliya police's investigation unit Major Hussam Al-Khatib said the four suspects were detained after police questioning. The suspects confessed to the theft, police said, adding that they will be transferred to the general prosecution to commence legal proceedings.
