Ramallah – Ma’an – A Palestinian man was lightly injured in the West Bank on Friday when Israeli forces opened fire at a crowd of demonstrators, activists said.

Radwan Yasin, 50, was struck by a tear-gas canister fired at the crowd, which gathered to protest Israel's wall being built on village land in Bil'in, which is near Ramallah.

The protest was attended by Brazilian businessman of Palestinian origin Khader Othaman, a group of young volunteers from a development project, and international peace activists.
