Nablus – Ma’an – Three new cases of swine flu were diagnosed in the West Bank on Tuesday, the Palestinian Ministry of Health said.

Director of Health Care in the Ministry of Health Dr Said Ramlawi said two of the new cases were from the Ramallah-area and were diagnosed after they returned from performing the Umrah pilgrimage to Mecca, and the third - from Jenin - was infected by unknown carriers.

The total number of diagnosed cases in the West Bank has now reached 95, with one death of a 30-year-old man who also contracted the virus in Saudi Arabia, reported from Ramallah last week.
