Khan Younis - Ma'an - The People's Party of Palestine (PPP) denounced the ongoing Israeli attacks on the residents of the Gaza Strip near the city of Khan Younis after Israeli warplanes shelled the area.

The party said in a statement that Israeli attacks are proof that the country has violated the truce. The statement went on to say the shell attacks on the villages of Abasan Al-Kabira and Al-Qarara east of Khan Younis that resulted in the destruction of homes and fields must be seriously opposed by international organizations.
