Palestinian fighters 'shell Israeli position' from Gaza

Nov. 25, 2008 11:17 A.M. (Updated: Nov. 25, 2008 11:17 A.M.)
Bethlehem - Ma'an - Palestinian fighters said they shelled an Israeli special forces position east of Al-Maghazi Refugee Camp, midway down the Gaza Strip, on Tuesday morning.

The An-Nasser Salah Addin Brigades, the armed wing of the Popular Resistance Committees, said they fired four mortar shells at the post at dawn.

The group said the shelling was in retaliation for "ongoing Israeli atrocities in Gaza and the West Bank."
