Israeli forces seize five Palestinians in Bethlehem raids

Bethlehem - Ma'an - Israeli seized five civilians from the Bethlehem governorate of the West Bank early on Tuesday.

Security sources and eyewitnesses reported that nine Israeli military vehicles invaded Al-Azza refugee camp in the north of the city of Bethlehem and detained 16-year-old Mu'ayyad Othman Al-Azza and 19-year-old Shadi Mohamad Al-Qeissi.

Another raiding force detained Shihab Abu-Sh'irah from the Al-Karkafah neighborhood in Bethlehem.

Israeli forces also detained 26-year-old Fadi Al-Balboul after storming his house in Al-Fawaghrah neighborhood in the center of the city. His brother reported to Ma'an that Israeli forces surrounded their house along with neighbors' houses then forced their way through the door of the house. Israeli troops also confiscated Al-Balboul's computer.

In the village of Tuqu, south of the city, Israeli forces detained Moussa Mahmoud Zawahrah, in his twenties, after raiding his house.
