Israeli forces seize three Palestinians in Jenin

Oct. 30, 2008 3:09 P.M. (Updated: Oct. 30, 2008 3:09 P.M.)
Jenin - Ma'an - Israeli soldiers detained three civilians in Jenin after an early-morning raid on Thursday, security sources told Ma'an.

The unit invaded the town at 2 am on Thursday, stormed a number of houses and "messed around," according to a correspondent.

One of the houses belongs to the family of Tha'er Jaradat, who is in an Israeli prison, he said.

Three detained civilians were identified as 33-year-old Mohammad Ibrahim Nassar, 34-year-old Alam Ziad Jaradat and Mohammad Abu Tame.

Israeli forces claimed that an army force raided the town of Qabatiya south of Jenin at dawn and found three hand-made bombs. Palestinian security sources did not immediately confirm that report.
