April 18, 2008 5:22 P.M. (Updated: April 18, 2008 5:22 P.M.)
Gaza - Ma'an - The Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of Islamic Jihad, claimed responsibility for launching two homemade projectiles at the Israeli Kibbutz Ein Hashlosha and neighboring Nirim, near the Gaza Strip, on Friday.

The group said the attack was a response to "Israeli massacres in the Gaza Strip and the assassination of Palestinian leaders and activists affiliated to the movement in Jenin."

Israeli forces assassinated two Al-Quds Brigades leaders on Thursday in the West Bank town of Qabatiya, near Jenin.
