April 17, 2008 1:01 P.M. (Updated: April 17, 2008 1:01 P.M.)
Bethlehem - Ma'an - The Israeli authorities are to impose a total closure of the West Bank and the Gaza Strip during the Jewish holiday of Passover.

The closure will begin at midnight on Thursday and will end on Sunday April 27.

The closure means that Palestinians will only be able to enter Israel in cases of emergency, which should be coordinated with the Israeli civil liaison offices.
