Gaza - Ma'an - The Palestinian resistance on Thursday intensified homemade projectiles attacks on Israeli towns bordering the Gaza Strip.

The military wing affiliated to Islamic Jihad's Al-Quds Brigades claimed responsibility for firing six homemade projectiles at the Israeli towns of Sderot, Ashkelon and Nir Yitzhaq.

They said in a statement that the shelling was in retaliation for Israeli atrocities against the Palestinian people in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip.
