April 13, 2008 1:58 P.M. (Updated: April 13, 2008 1:58 P.M.)
Nablus - Ma'an - Israeli settlers attacked Palestinians in fields near the village of Tal, west of the West Bank city of Nablus on Sunday, witnesses said.

Umar Shtayya, the chair of the village's local council, said that more than 40 heavily-armed settlers from the Gilad colony invaded the fields, firing in the air and throwing stones at passersby.

Settlers from Gilad also attacked Palestinians' fields last week, uprooting their trees, Shtayya said.
